Hi friends!

Normally, these emails come from the desk of Brigitta.. but today, Heather, our social media manager, has a chair at the desk too!! As we settle into the cozy months — when the air feels crisp, the blankets get fluffier, and candles seem to stay lit a little longer — we thought it would be fun to share a few of our favorite things lately. From little life upgrades that make our days smoother to small habits that add a spark of joy, these are the things bringing warmth and light to our routines right now.

We're both big believers that beauty isn't just found through the camera lens — it's woven into everyday moments, too. The morning cup of tea (or coffee… if you're Heather ), a good book, a comforting meal, or a small ritual that helps you slow down and savor the season — those are the snapshots of life that inspire us most.

Brigitta's Favorites Lately

Cold plunging! My husband got me a cold plunge for my birthday, and I haven't missed a day since. It boosts energy, helps with inflammation, and honestly — I'm hooked! (No plunge? Try a cold shower or a dip in your nearest chilly lake!)

Le Creuset Tea Kettle – I found mine in pink at the outlet, and it's used daily. I'm not a coffee drinker, so tea is my jam.

These high-protein taco bowls from Mary's Whole Life – quick, healthy, and family-approved!

The Way of Wisdom Bible Study – I'm walking through Proverbs with a wonderful group of women, and it's been so rich.

Cute Apple Watch bands – my daughter and I split a pack, and it's been such a fun little accessory swap!

Thredup – my secret weapon for wardrobe finds! So many brand-new pieces at a fraction of the price.

Heather's Favorites Lately

Summer Fridays Tinted Lip Butter – The perfect swipe of color when I want to feel put-together without much effort. Hydrating, glowy, and a staple in my bag!

The Nature of Rest Bible Study – Such a grounding reminder to slow down, breathe, and embrace rest in a busy season.

The “time check” option on my phone – Working from my phone has its perks, but this gentle reminder to unplugevery now and then has been a game-changer.

This tote for storing my kids' craft chaos – cute and practical!

Audiobooks! I used to be a Kindle-only girl, but listening to stories while walking or driving has become such a refreshing way to fill my day. I just finished “If It Makes You Happy” by Julie Olivia, and if you're into Gilmore Girls, this one is definitely for you. 

Welsh Mountain Candles – A local Lancaster favorite, made by the sweetest people! Their scents are heavenly — my current obsession is Cherry & Wine.

As we reflect on the season, we're reminded how grateful we are for this community that surrounds us. Brigitta is endlessly thankful for the families who continue to show up — year after year — with smiles, laughter, and so much love in front of her camera. Each session feels like catching up with old friends, and it's truly the heartbeat of this work.

And Heather? She's so grateful for every single like, comment, and message from those of you following along online. Your engagement, encouragement, and kind words mean more than you know — it's what keeps the creative spark alive behind the scenes.
